Sleepaway or overnight summer camps appeal to many preteens and teens, but the idea is nerve-wracking to many more. Nonetheless, they provide children with an essential opportunity to experience life beyond the comfort and confines of their homes.

Summer camps make some of the most memorable childhood experiences. For many parents, the main appeal of summer camps is that they help children become independent, make new friends, and explore different interests.

The Rocky Run YMCA serves over 500 kids each year during our summer camp season. Camp themes change each year and provide youth throughout the area with the ability to pursue their hobbies, experience new adventures, and more!
